The crowd dancing along to Big Gigantic's funky beats last night.
Big Gigantic brought the funk to Detroit last night for a sold out show at the Masonic Temple.
People gathered in front of the Masonic Temple as early as seven o’clock to get a good spot during the crowded show.
Piper Gasaway attended the concert because of her first experiences within the same music genre.
"I started getting into future funk after seeing Gramatik for the first time and that was the first time I experienced that type of genre," Gasaway said.
"I love how you can really dance and get down to the music not just head bang."
Big Gigantic was opened by Louis the Child, with a surprise guest D12, and Marshmello. D12 played two songs with Louis the Child at the end of their performance.
Many people in the crowd came in costumes mimicking Marshmello to show their support for such a big opener.
Gasaway enjoyed Marshmello's set more than the opener.
"The best part of the night was when Marshmello played Keep it Mello. He played an amazing set!" Gasaway said.
Doors opened at 8pm and the show went until about 1:15am. The crowd danced and and sang along to the music the whole night.
Big Gigantic played hits such as Get on Up and Funk with Me. The saxophone echoed through the venue as people danced to the funky music.
